Acquisition Management Analyst - El Segundo, CA 210126
A² Systems Engineering, Inc., a veteran-owned business, is seeking to immediately hire a Space Systems Acquisition Management Analyst who will provide acquisition management and technical support to a key space program located in El Segundo, CA.
Responsibilities:
- Develop contract materials such as Market Research or RFIs
- Draft all or portions of RFPs and conduct source selection proposal reviews
- Provide acquisition oversight to include participation in major milestones, contract deliverable reviews, assessments and reports to Government on contractor status
- Develop and status risk charts
- Develop and support materials for Government program management reviews.
- Provide support to technical reviews, assessments, and make recommendations regarding systems engineering and contract requirements, contractor technical performance
- Provide technical support for government launch vehicles, ground communications, environmental test facilities and equipment
- Work on high-visibility or mission critical aspects of a given program and perform all functional duties independently
- Coordinate between Government organizations and summarize information for presentations to various stakeholders
Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years’ experience preferably in space systems or space operations with at least 4 years in DOD/DOW, working program acquisitions in space, missiles, or aerospace.
- Must have good writing skills and some experience with AI tools
Education Requirements:
- MS/MA degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, Program Management, or Systems Management
Clearance Requirements:
- Must have an active Top Secret/SCI clearance with no disqualifying security issues that will deem a candidate ineligible for access
Salary Range: $170,000/yr – $200,000/yr · Full-time starting salary will ultimately depend on several differentiating factors, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories

Systems Engineer - El Segundo, CA 230126
A² Systems Engineering, Inc. is currently seeking a systems engineer to fill a position as a Future Requirements Analyst who will apply their knowledge and expertise to provide technical support to a key space program in El Segundo, CA. The candidate will work within a dynamic team environment, interfacing with various project stakeholders, to assist the Government in performance of the following functional duties.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluation and assessment of future space systems at a cross-enterprise level, linking materiel solutions to warfighter capability needs
- Create and assess systems, enterprise, and scenario-based technology roadmaps
- Perform assessment of technology threats and gaps
- Provide cross-enterprise architecting analysis, engineering best practices, and enterprise level integration that results in highly integrated capabilities for the warfighter and key decision support for rapid modernization or recapitalization
- Create and synchronize the enterprise system-of-systems policy and processes to support the SSC mission across multiple space programs
- Assist government managers in the management of projects and taskings by developing and tracking performance and schedule baselines
Experience and Education Requirement:
- Minimum 10 years of space systems acquisition experience
- MS/MA degree in technical fields such as systems engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, mathematics, or physics
- Should be assertive when required to achieve results and not shy about seeking clarity to accomplish task requirements
- Must be able to perform all functional duties independently
Clearance:
- Active TS/ with SCI eligibility and knowledge of relevant security protocols and procedures
Salary: $150,000.00 – $180,000.00 per year. Base pay offered is determined by various factors based on established government contract wages, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience.
