Dennis Averyt

Dennis is the founder and CEO/President of A² Systems Engineering, whose primary responsibilities are leading the overall operations and resources of A², acting as the main point of communication between the board of directors and corporate operations, and being the public face of the company. Before founding A², Dennis served as Vice President of Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance at Northrop Grumman Space Technology and Vice President of Intelligence Systems at BAE Systems. Throughout his more than 40-year career in Aerospace Engineering supporting the department of defense and intelligence community, Dennis, a graduate of the U S Naval Academy, has held numerous leadership positions in the definition and development of space systems.

Scott Averyt
Scott Averyt

Scott is the Chief Operating Officer for A² Systems Engineering. In this capacity, he oversees and manages the day-to-day operations of the company. Scott is responsible for ensuring all programs and business-related systems operate smoothly, meet business objectives and align with A²’s quality standards and core values. The scope of his responsibilities also includes management of contracts, subcontracts, finance, accounting, proposal pricing, negotiations, and human resources. Scott addresses potential issues when they arise, builds processes that meet business objectives and ensure compliance, assesses financial data, and recommends solutions to improve profitability, and coordinates with the Staffing Manager to ensure hiring plans meet business needs. As a member of the A² team since the company was founded in 2007, Scott has helped design, implement, and integrate all business systems. Under his leadership, A² has successfully passed several key government audits and provided business-related support to multiple winning proposals. Scott holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a minor in Public Administration from California State University, Fullerton.

Pete Vaccaro
Peter Vaccaro

Pete is the Vice President of A² Systems Engineering Inc, whose primary responsibility is the oversight of the company’s on-going programs. Pete is the major interface with A²’s government customer leadershipand the Business Development lead for A². During his tenure with A², Pete has provided the programmatic and technical leadership for programs supporting the US Air Force (now US Space Force), office of the Department of Defense, National Reconnaissance Office, and more than eighteen defense contractors. Prior to joining A², Pete was a deputy division manager for SAIC and served 21 years in the U.S. Air Force managing numerous space and strategic missile programs. Pete has also been very active in several professional groups, including the Air Force Association (AFA), Armed Forces Communications and Electronic Association (AFCEA), National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA), and the Southern California Aerospace Professional Representatives Organization (SCAPR). Pete is a graduate of the Air Force Institute of Technology and the U.S. Air Force Academy.

Oscar King

Oscar is currently the Staffing Manager for A² Systems Engineering and is responsible for identifying and screening qualified candidates for current job openings and future contract work. He brings more than 23 years of combined Department of Defense and defense industry experience to the company. After joining A², Oscar supported strategic technology planning activities that included managing technology partnerships with government research laboratories to shape future advanced technologies for the US Space Force and Air Force. He also provided analysis for integration and transition of technologies and innovation efforts aligned with “requirements pull-based” processes. Before coming onboard with A², Oscar worked for several defense companies where he supported the US Air Force in its space systems engineering, acquisition, and project management activities. Oscar began his career as an active-duty officer at the Space and Missile Systems Center. He earned his undergraduate degree from Albany State University and his graduate degree from the University of Iowa.

Glen Jimeenz
Glen Jimenez

Glen is the Facility Security Officer for A² Systems Engineering, responsible for Personnel Security Clearances on multiple contracts and Security Operations Management. Glen is also the A² Program Manager for the Space Sensing STS-3 Contract, Glen is responsible for the oversight of several contractors supporting various aspects of the Space Force Mission.

Retiring from the US Air Force as a Chief Master Sergeant in August 2019, Glen has over 35 years’ experience in Air Force and Space Force Operations and Program Management. His work included key management roles as Assistant to the Inspector General, Wing Functional Manager for Business Administrators, and Superintendent for Plans and Programs. Glen earned his undergraduate degree from CSU Dominguez Hills and his graduate degree from Webster University. Glen also holds Associate Degrees in Security Administration and Criminal Justice from the Community College of the Air Force.

Glen serves as Trustee / Past Post Commander, American Veterans (AMVETS) Post 2, Los Angeles, California. A Veteran Service Organization whose mission is to enhance and safeguard the entitlements for all AMVETS who served honorably and to improve the quality of life for them, their families, and the communities where they live through leadership, advocacy and services.
